Artistic Extravaganza–Italian label MSGM and independent magazine Toiletpaper, founded by artist Maurizio Cattelan and photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari, join creative forces once again, creating a new collection characterized by an irreverent, colorful and surreal appeal. Designed to celebrate the relationship between fashion and contemporary art, the new collection blends the creativity of MSGM's creative director with the irreverent and provocative spirit of the magazine, and the result is a selection of pieces that have in common an extensive use of neon color, pop-inspired prints and surreal motifs. Some of the figures used in the first collection, like the frogs and the lipsticks, return this time as decorations on the beachwear pieces, while a selection of the magazine's signature images embellish sweatshirts, tees and shorts. Ayuite Fall/Winter 2014 Collection–Inspired by the raw attitude of American workwear uniforms, Japanese designer Hiroyuki Obara unveils Ayuite's fall/winter 2014 collection. Model Max Von Isser (Fusion) is the face of the fall offering, captured for the look book by photographer Daisuke Mizushima. Stylist Toshihiro Oku assembles the collection's standout pieces, highlighting the garments' functional attitude and adding to the whole styling a modern flavor, thanks to soft layerings and different textures combinations. Revisiting the workwear uniforms with unexpected details and proportions, Ayuite's fall offering provides pieces that could easily become classics, as the deconstructed suit jackets, paired with denim shirts, or the lightweight quilted vests with suede details. The silhouette is clear and precise, and the volumes always ensure comfort. Emmy Nominations 2014–Bruno Mars’ record-breaking performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show last year has earned the singer an Emmy nomination in the category of “Outstanding Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program.” The show was seen by more than 115 million viewers, breaking the previous record of 114 million set by Madonna’s performance two years earlier. Other nominees in the same category include Parks and Rec in Europe, The Soup: True Detective and Between Two Ferns with Zack Galifianikis: Barack Obama.

Bustin’ Makes Me Feel Good–Cult classic Ghostbusters will return to cinemas on August 29th to celebrate the film’s 30th anniversary. The supernatural comedy was a huge hit upon its release in 1984, and still holds cult status amongst its large fanbase to this day. GUESS Fall/Winter 2014 Campaign–GUESS looks to the country roots of Nashville for the inspiration of its latest campaign. GUESS creative director Paul Marciano and photographer Ellen Von Unwerth collaborate for the western-inspired campaign, which was shot in Nashville. The advertisement features Venice, California-based milliner Nick Fouquet. Nick is no stranger to modeling. In fact, his dad Bernard is a model, having appeared in advertisements for Tommy Hilfiger as well as other fashion shoots. For his own special moment, Nick is captured in a cowboy hat, boots and leather.
