Ulyana Sergeenko Fall/Winter 2014 Haute Couture–Inspired by artwork created in Russia during its Soviet Union period, Ulyana Sergeenko presented part fairy-tale and part revolution for her fall-winter 2014 haute couture collection. "USSR was the never-tone-realized dream of the perfect world" her show notes read. While political ideology may never produce a utopian future, fashion can produce fantasy like no other industry. Sergeenko's haute couture line delivers something modern, yet still evokes the dreamy etherealness one would expect from a couturier. DKNY Gets New Yorkers for Fall Ads–The fall-winter 2014 campaign from DKNY gets real New Yorkers who just so happen to be recognizable, and among the cast includes Rita Ora who has now appeared in several ads for the brand including a fragrance campaign. Besides the British singer, models Soo Joo Park and Eliza Cummings star in the images lensed by Lachlan Bailey and styled by Alastair McKimm. Axelle Despiegelaere might not be a household name yet, but the stunning football fan has landed a gig with L’Oreal Professional Belgium after being spotted in the stands at the World Cup, reports The Telegraph. 17-year old Despiegelaere was dressed in head-to-toe Belgium gear and face paint when cameramen zeroed in on her and displayed her photo on the Jumbo Tron which then led to her photos being on newspapers all over the world and eventually went viral on Twitter. Chanel Does Sports–After a runway show staged with a supermarket setting, the fall/winter 2014 campaign from Chanel also goes for the unexpected with images taken at a boxing ring. The advertisements star It girl of the moment Cara Delevingne and rising star Binx Walton photographed by Karl Lagerfeld. Both of the girls also happen to appear in Balmain's fall ads. Lara on Health & Body–Top Dutch model Lara Stone is known for her smoldering looks, but shows off a softer side in the latest edition of The Edit—an online magazine from Net-a-Porter. This issue focuses on body and health and Lara certainly cuts a striking figure in the photo shoot lensed by Ben Weller and styled by Natalie Brewster. The blonde beauty had her first child last year and spoke to the magazine about accepting the changes her body went through after being pregnant. "Everyone's got arm flab or saggy boobs. It's the way it is. I'm just trying to accept it right now. And it's OK, because the things women can do with their bodies are amazing," Lara says. Throwback Chloe–For this edition of Throwback Thursday, we’re taking a look back at Chloe’s fall 2003 campaign which starred Angela Lindvall. The hippie chic vibe is even relevant now and has us wishing we could break out some fringe and floral prints. Craig McDean photographed Angela for the advertisements where she modeled denim, colorful prints and some killer bangs. Fast forward to today and Angela is still at the top of her game.
