The biggest difference between the two shoes being the letter “N” on the New Balance and a “K” on Lagerfeld's version. New Balance was made aware of the comparison after a shopping website called She Finds made note of it. As of yet it is unclear if Lagerfeld, the head designer and creative director for Chanel, purposefully knocked off the design or if it was an unintentional move on his part.
