Casely-Hayford Spring/Summer 2015–Designers Joe and Charlie Casely-Hayford interrupted the classics for their spring/summer 2015 endeavor. Subverting traditional ideas when it comes to menswear staples such as the bomber jacket or design elements like pinstripes, each garment in the collection carried with it a certain finesse. Shorts were baggy but polished, oversize coats alluring and a white dress shirt with zips near the hem interesting. Hedi Slimane Exhibition–A selection of portraits of musicians shot by Saint Laurent creative director Hedi Slimane is set to be exhibited at The Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent from September 2014. Slimane has had strong ties with the music industry throughout his career, creating stagewear for groups like The Libertines and Daft Punk and contributing photographs to NME magazine and for the cover of Lady Gaga’s The Fame Monster EP. A video installation comparing the musical scenes of London and California over the past ten years will accompany the photographs. Richard James Spring/Summer 2015–Taking its tailored heritage for a history course, Richard James looked to World War II for inspiration this season. In particular, the British soldiers, known as Desert Rats, who served during tours in North Africa, became the focus for spring/summer 2015. Embracing khakis, epaulettes and patch pockets, military standards were adapted for civilian wear. Here, pops of orange, blue, green and other vibrant hues open up the collection to a more whimsical note, but one thing that remains consistent, whether approaching suiting or sportswear is sharp clean lines and precise intentions. KTZ Spring/Summer 2015–Mixing tribal prints and fearless cuts, KTZ created its own take on gladiators for spring/summer 2015. Not surprising when taking into account the label’s history, black and white were the colors of choice for sporty ensembles. Paired with gladiator sandals, graphic oversize tops created an armor while the use of mesh offered a certain vulnerability. Baggy shorts and voluminous outerwear offered a tough exterior as the show progressed. Creating a light and accessible chain-mail, an intricate print and the use of orange brought the collection full circle, offering varying degrees of fashionable edge. View More

What If! Clip–What If! opens in theaters Friday August 8th and a new clip from the movie has just been released. The film stars Daniel Radcliffe and actress Zoe Kazan, telling the story of a medical school dropout who intends to put his love life on hold after a series of burnouts, but then meets the perfect girl who's taken and becomes his best friend, posing the age old question: can men and women be just friends?  Gieves & Hawkes Spring/Summer 2015–Whether dressed casual or formal, one thing is for sure when it comes to Gieves & Hawkes’ man. The fit is impeccable, the materials luxe and his style timeless. Approaching spring/summer 2015 with a conservative color palette, easily accessible blues and charcoals gave way to a well-rounded collection. Striped t-shirts, lightweight parkas and patterned knitwear contributed to Gieves & Hawkes’ after-hours look. Meanwhile, suiting, in double-breasted and single-breasted varieties took the label from daytime to evening formal with a certain ease and charm.

New Collab–DJ Paul Van Dyk and TOMS have partnered up to create a shoe and sunglasses line together. The collection places an emphasis on a galactic theme and Paul's signature triangle logo from his years as a major trance DJ. Shoes are available for men and women, while the sunglasses will be unisex. The limited edition collection will be available online and at TOMS retail locations, and as always a pair of shoes will be donated for each purchased, and for every pair of sunglasses purchased TOMS will help to restore someone's sight.

Khaki, navy and charcoal were the collection’s go to colors as Howell’s knack for menswear essentials delivered a comfortable wardrobe of crewneck sweaters, short-sleeve shirts with narrow lapels, sleeveless knits and smart cardigans. Combined with shirt jackets and handy carryalls, the man of Margaret Howell played style by the rules and while a little uptight, came out with a solid fashion statement.
