The World of Rick Owens-As part of its ‘The Masters’ series, Selfridges welcomes ‘The World of Rick Owens’ to its ground floor Wonder Room Concept Store. Celebrating the event, Selfridges has erected a 25-foot replica of Owens’ torso, which holds a flame-burning torch. The statue, designed by Doug Jennings, will preside over Selfridge’s Oxford street canopy through the month of October. This is UGG-UGG brand ambassador Tom Brady reconnects with the label for a new spot entitled ‘Time Out’. The spot is part of the extended series ‘This is UGG’. The global marketing campaign explores life’s moments, explaining that some of the biggest are actually the smallest. Tapping into Brady’s personal life, the advertisement centers around his fond memories of weekend golf with his father, including Tom Brady Senior in the advertisement. When Brady was originally accepted into the University of Michigan, his father didn’t want him to go because he didn’t want to miss out on their weekend bonding time, but Brady decided to follow his dreams and look where it got him.  Adam Levine wears a v-neck and tribal print hoodie from his line. V-Today, Maroon 5 releases its fifth studio album ‘V’. Celebrating the launch, there is a new behind the scenes clip from Adam Levine recording the album. Jamming in the recording studio, Levine wore pieces from his K-Mart line. Talking about the tribal print hoodie he is seen wearing in one image, Levine shares, “I love this. The prints in the fall collection are probably my favorite. I’m really happy with the colors we went with.” Further, talking about the design process, Levine reveals, “I real enjoy the creative meetings, especially now that the collection has expanded into women’s and different product categories within the men’s line. It’s great being able to bounce ideas off of such an incredibly talented group of people who do this for a living. Man of Style-WSJ taps Pharrell for its September 2014 cover story. Posed for simple photos, Pharrell is captured in black & white photos by Peter Lindbergh. For the issue’s cover, Pharrell wears a smart polka dot and pinstripe suit from Dior Homme’s fall/winter 2014 collection. Talking about why he signed on to be a judge for NBC’s ‘The Voice’, Pharrell shares, “You want to know why I’m doing this. Producing is what I do every day, talking to people about what they want in their track, giving them advice about what sounds good juxtaposed with their voice and their style. That’s what I’ll be doing on the show, but it’s a huge platform, and it’s about paying it forward.
