 Image: Suki Waterhouse in Superga’s Spring 2014 Campaign Suki’s New Job–Mostly known for her modeling gigs for Alice and Olivia, Burberry and Coast, British model Suki Waterhouse is taking over the role of fashion designer for Italian trainer brand, Superga – according to Vogue UK. Known as the "people's shoes of Italy," Superga is widely recognized as a lifestyle sneaker brand with a vintage appeal, and with major staying power—the brand is over 100 years old. Superga has excitedly opened their arms to not only having Suki model the collection, but play a huge part in designing it as well. Suki already modeled for the brand’s spring 2014 campaign earlier this year. The collaboration will include three pairs of the classic style shoes, which Suki has described as "happy little hearts." Launching in late August, fashion enthusiasts awaits to see brand’s popular flatform style shoe inspired by Suki's adventures window shopping in Paris.

Even after selling the company to LVMH in 2001, the designer took great pleasure in being creative director of her namesake brand. It appears that these days, the designer is not so happy with her relationship with French conglomerate LVMH. In fact – per Fashionista, reporters in attendance at her 30th anniversary celebration waited with bated breath to see if Karan was going to announce her departure from one or both of her labels.
