 Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2015–There was standing room only as Belgian designer Raf Simons presented his spring/summer 2015 collection during Paris Fashion Week. For his latest endeavors, Simons sent his man to jail. Hitting the catwalk with sweated out tresses, models wore uniforms decorated with prints and emblems. From monochromatic shirt and pants ensembles to severe cropped jackets or long coats worn over check tops, Raf Simons played with normalcy, disrupting clean slates with the smallest emblem or a minimal coat with a horizontal row of buttons. Altogether, Simons presented a collection that offered up a selection of sharp tailored pieces juxtaposed with quirky remnants of the season.

 Haider Ackermann Spring/Summer 2015–Presenting his spring/summer 2015 collection during the first day of Paris Fashion Week, Haider Ackermann unveiled a lineup rich in luxe layers, intricate patterns and draped silhouettes. Offset against skin tight leather jeans, the first look revealed a slouchy black and white striped tee, paired with a short burgundy silk jacket. The way in which the colors played off of each felt so natural that it captured the perfect sentiments of Ackermann's man. Exuding an organic feel, separates come together with such ease that they mirror the comforts of a wardrobe filled with worn-in favorites. From silk scarves and printed shawl collar waistcoats to velvet jackets worn with slim cropped trousers, Ackermann's world is a sartorial dream that just feels right–it’s somehow the perfect fit.

 Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2015–The latest collection from Balenciaga is sharp, concise and to the point. Featuring an understated color palette of black, gray and blue hues, the collection is minimal on the details, highlighting menswear classics like the trench with a concealed closure and a small collar. The same quiet philosophy translates into short-sleeve knits built on structure as well as longer jackets. Adding leather to the mix, the shape is more relaxed for a double-breasted jacket with matching shorts. The heart of the collection, the utilization of luxe fabrics to reinterpret items as simple as the long-sleeve tee and henley are an achievement.

 Walter Van Beirendonck Spring/Summer 2015–Transforming his men into toucans, Belgian designer Walter Van Beirendonck found his inspiration in nature for spring/summer 2015. Introducing an eastern flair to his tailored silhouettes, kimonos joined a series of floral print covered jackets and trousers. While bodysuits acted as a second skin and a canvas for this season's theme, elongated tops and trim pleated trousers offered another opportunity to deconstruct the classics. Here graphics of destruction (think sharks and rifles) dressed suiting that surprisingly enough was pretty normal, well for Van Beirendonck that is.
