Illustration by Mike Wrobel Game of Thrones Gets a Makeover-As an ongoing project, Tokyo-based graphic designer and creative director Mike Wrobel has given various Game of Thrones characters ’80s and ’90s makeovers. The denizens of Westeros can be seen wearing fashions that defined the ’80s and ’90s ranging from Miami Vice to grunge. Margaery Tyrell can be seen donning a floral babydoll dress complete with a pork pie hat a la ’90s hit TV show, Blossom. Daenerys Targaryen rocks a loose fitting tank and accessorizes with ferrets. Cersei Lannister’s look is of an ’80s glam rock star. Olenna Tyrell wears a colorful nylon tracksuit with a chunky gold chain necklace while holding a bottle of poison. View More

The brunette smolders in designs from the likes of Agent Provocateur, Stella McCartney and Lover (Montana also starred in the brand’s “Le Femme” shoot) in these dreamy images photographed and styled by Margaret Zhang. Mango for T by Alexander Wang–SNL and fashion? Who would think it could go together? Looks like Alexander Wang does. The designer has convinced Chris Kattan to reprise the role of his character Mango who was known as a lively exotic dancer prominently featured on “Saturday Night Live” for five years. The T by Alexander Wang line will feature Kattan as Mango in a short film set to go live on June 3rd. For now, check out a teaser below. Asked by Style.com why he decided to go with the comedic character, the recent H&M collaborator says, “[It's] great to have someone such as Mango come through and inject a new burst of energy. Having fun and a sense of humor is so important to me that when I'm able to incorporate it into my work, I run with it.”

The line which will premiere at Milan Fashion Week will be called Giamba, which is one of the designer’s nicknames.”It’s another side of the same coin,” says Valli. “There is also an underground and sexy side in me and in my designs that you will see in the Giamba line. I’ve been thinking about it for a while and waited for the right time, and now it’s matured. I am really very happy. I feel the need to dress women in general, and Giamba is a little more intimate.” According to Fashionista.com, Giamba will be owned by GBO SpA which is a line created by Valli and entrepreneur Mario Bandiera and plans on being distributed in 500 stores worldwide.
