DAILY DIGEST | | Gucci Launching Cosmetics Line With Charlotte Casiraghi as the Face May 20, 2014 06:34 pm  Image: Charlotte Casiraghi for Gucci Forever Now (2013) Campaign Granddaughter of Grace Kelly, Charlotte Casiraghi, has been tapped as the face of the new Gucci Cosmetics Collection which will hit stores in September. The range, according to WWD, will feature eye, lip, nail, face and skin items. Mert & Marcus are said to photograph the campaign. The photography duo lensed Gucci’s current pre-fall advertisements starring Anja Rubik. Previously, Charlotte posed for Gucci's "Forever Now" campaign (pictured above). The CFDA Fashion Awards has announced a new category by introducing the CFDA Fashion Instagrammer of the Year Award. Eight in total, most of the nominees have a good number of Instagram followers, but you won’t be seeing any big names here like the models that are featured in our weekly Instagram roundups. The nominees are all described as emerging creative talent with most being bloggers or artists. The winner will be chosen by a public vote, and announced on May 30th. Their prize? The winner will be the official Instagram correspondent for the CFDA Awards which take place on June 2nd. You can vote for the best Instagrammer on CFDA.com.

Image: Vogue May 2009 Issue Meisel for Pirelli–While last year the Pirelli Calendar did a fake out preview with images by Peter Lindbergh and Patrick Demarchelier nonetheless, we’re hoping this news is not false. According to the Telegraph, American fashion photographer Steven Meisel of Vogue fame is set to lens the 2015 calendar. This will be Meisel’s first time capturing the calendar which is quite a surprise since it seems that every major photographer from Mert & Marcus to Mario Testino has had the honor. Here’s to hoping that we’ll see some of the models featured in the image above for the shoot!
